Looking for something to warm you up when the nights are cool and spirits are in the air? Look no further. Blended to commemorate the 1820 short story, 'The Legend of Sleepy Hollow by Washington Irving, (1783-1859), Sleepy Hollow Chai is all but guaranteed to ease the chills. The blend also happens to be the perfect beverage to commemorate the town of Sleepy Hollow NY, formerly known as North Tarrytown, but changed to Sleepy Hollow in 1996 after residents there voted to change the name. (The town serves as Mr. Irving's final resting place.)

Recipe idea: Heat 8 oz. of milk (your choice) until very hot but not boiling. Add 1 Tbsp. of the pumpkin chai tea, plus 2 tsp. or more of sugar (white, brown or demarara) or honey to taste. Let steep for 5 minutes and then strain. Enjoy!

Flavor notes: Full astringency. Warming and comforting in the chai tradition with pumpkin ghoulish notes. Excellent with milk for ghostly visuals. Price is per ounce.

(Approximately 16 servings per ounce, using the measurements for brewing below.)
