Shipping policy

Late arrival shipments: We are not responsible for the late arrival of packages due to circumstances beyond our control with the shipper. When you receive your shipment confirmation email, that means we have shipped the order that day and it is now in the hands of the shipper - USPS or UPS or FedEx, depending on what was chosen. After that, we have no control over the timing of the shipping. You have the power to request more information from the shipper while the package is in process, using the customer service information for the shipper used on their respective website.

If the package arrives in a timeframe beyond what you expected from the shipper based on the confirmation information sent to you, it is then your responsibility to then open a claim with them. We make our products to withstand 1-3 days in shipping, and some products are more sensitive than others, but overall we make sure to the best of our ability that you will receive them in perfect condition. You as the recipient have the best opportunity to file a claim and receive a refund from the shipper if your product was late and not in good condition.

Hot climate shipping: Between May and October, please note that two-day shipping is the minimum required in order for our products to arrive safely and in good condition. To guarantee the best condition, we recommend overnight shipping with someone to receive it at the destination. We also may call to let you know if it is too hot to ship, so we can help you determine the next best steps.

You can trust that your order will be quickly processed and safely delivered. We can ship products anywhere in the United States using USPS or UPS. When you place an order we will estimate delivery dates based upon the availability of your item(s), shipping method selected and your shipment's destination. If we are out of stock for the item ordered, we will contact you as soon as possible to determine a new shipping date.

Candies and Baked Goods Timeline - general information
In order for you to receive your confections in perfect condition, please note that most products will be shipped within 1-3 business days of receipt of your order, so that you receive them within 2-4 business days after you receive your shipping confirmation email (depending on where you live, and also current weather conditions). Orders placed on Thursday or Friday will be shipped the following Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday.

When your order ships, you will automatically receive a confirmation email with the shipping information. If you cannot find the email, please look in your spam or junk folder.

Frozen Shipping Orders Timeline
In order for you to receive your frozen products in perfect condition, please note that they will be shipped within 1-3 business days of receipt of your order, so that you receive them in 1 business day. Orders placed on Thursday or Friday will be shipped the following Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday.

Because we are a small company, we do try to be flexible and help you out as much as we can, so we will always do our best to get you your product in a timely fashion, as well as in good condition.

Our shipping charges are determined by the total dollar amount of your order, excluding applicable sales tax. Some products cannot be shipped to international destinations so please submit a message to us from the Contact Us page if you would like to discuss international ordering options.

How do I track my package once you've shipped it? What do I do if it's late?

All our shipped orders are sent via Priority Mail with USPS or faster delivery service, so you will receive a tracking number immediately on the day we send out your package. You should be able to click on the tracking number to check the status of your package, or you can copy the number and paste it into your browser to track it (most browsers are smart enough to recognize that your number is a tracking number). If your package seems to be taking longer than it should to arrive, please check once more with USPS, as they are the ones who can best tell you the status. Please understand that we do our best to get your shipment out to you in a timely manner, and when you receive the shipment notification, that means we have done our part and sent out the package.
