Barmbrack

Barmbrack is the traditional Irish fruit cake served throughout the autumn Samhain season, featuring warm spices, Irish Cream tea, a touch of brandy, and golden raisins. A thick slice slathered in good Irish butter and a hot cuppa your favorite Irish tea is the perfect way to celebrate the spooky season.

Normally barmbrack is baked with a trinket or two inside - a coin for wealth and a ring for marriage, but these breads do not have any inside them at this time. You can of course put one through the bottom of the bread as a surprise for your guests!
