Harry Potter's Birthday Afternoon Tea 2026/Lughnasa Celebration

We are offering two seatings of a very wizardy afternoon tea on 1st August, 2026! You are invited to experience a magical, memorable afternoon tea featuring foods and teas created by The Celtic Tea Shoppe - including a visit from Merloch, guest wizarding professor from the Magic School in Scotland. He will also be doing masterful close-up magic and tell tales of his time at the school while you enjoy your afternoon tea. He will also announce and give out Hogwarts acceptance letters at each seating, so if you have not received yours, you have the opportunity to purchase one here with your tea reservation.

We will have four tables of 8 people each, so if you would like to buy a table for your group, please let us know in the comment box on the shopping cart page.

Don't forget we will also have live Celtic music featuring Gaelic Muses at 12, and Avalon Well at 2:30!

Important Notes:

The first tea seating is reserved for 11 year olds who are receiving their Hogwarts acceptance letters. Please note that each child must be accompanied by a guardian or parent for the entire tea, please. If the guardian or adult accompanying the child would also like to receive their letter, choose "Yes please!" when ordering.

The second seating is reserved for all other guests, ages 18 and older. If you would like to receive your Hogwarts letter at that time, please make sure to add it to your order. Hogwarts has an Adult Lost Owl letter service through our North American Owl Post to help make sure that you receive your letter, even if the time is past for attending the school.

Please plan to arrive and check in 15-30 minutes before your Afternoon Tea time, and please keep in mind there are no menu substitutions.
